Course Assessment

On Student Arrival

On the 1st day of your course you will be asked to take a 45 minute online English Placement Test. This test is will cover reading, writing, speaking and listening, and will enable EF to evaluate the existing level of English of each student. After this test is completed the results will be reviewed, and each student will be individually allocated to the appropriate class level for their abilities.

During the Course

During the course, the student will take a range of ongoing evaluations and tests to assess their level of progress. These will include the following:

• Book Tests
• End of Level Tests
• iLab & Progress Tests

On course completion

All students will complete a final test prior to their departure. On completion of this test, each student will receive a certificate of completion with EF on their final day, stating their current level of English and a summary of their current level of English abilities. Students should be reminded before their departure, and encouraged to continue to use EF’s Efekta™ online course material online for 3 months after course completion.
